Part Time Student Status

Every student at Bard has an academic adviser who is a member of the College's faculty. Faculty advisers hold regular advisory conferences with their student advisees throughout the semester, provide guidance and assistance to students during the registration process, and counsel students on applications for internships, plans for after graduation, and fellowship and scholarship opportunities. Students can look up their academic advisor on their online information portal (BIP).

The Center for Student Life & Advising offers support from the Dean of Students team, and can help students get connected to a host of other academic or co-curricular resources on campus.

Contact us to: request an academic transcript, send a verification of enrollment or graduation, find out about Moderation, drop or add a class, register to take a course pass/fail, withdraw from a class, change your adviser or major, apply for permission to take a summer or winter course at another college, print a grade release form, register a legal name change or ask about graduation or check your progress toward your degree.
