After graduation involvement
The Alumni/ae Association is here to strengthen the connection between alumni/ae and the College and help alumni/ae stay in touch with Bardians, new and old. There are now over 15,000 Bard Alumni/ae and the number is growing; close to half of all Bardians graduated in the last 20 years.
The work of the Association is done through the active participation of Bardian volunteers and alumni/ae on the committees of the Board of Governors. Beyond committee and board membership, alumni/ae are encouraged to volunteer as mentors for current students, host events, and serve on reunion committees.

The Office of Alumni/ae Affairs connects current students and alumni/ae, provides information about Bard Alumni/ae to the community, and is happy to meet with students at any time.

Dean of Graduate Studies
The Dean of Graduate Studies office consists of Dean Christian Ayne Crouch, Director of Graduate Admissions Janet Stetson, and Marie Balogh, Assistant to the Dean. Our office acts as a hub for all graduate programs and the surrounding offices on campus. The office is responsible for organizing Commencement for all graduate students. The director of graduate admissions supports recruitment efforts of Bard graduate programs, promoting efficacy in marketing, PR, data collection and analysis, website development, etc. The director also assists in establishing student activities and coordinates services with undergraduate offices from career development to health services and on-campus housing.

Career Development Office (CDO)
The Bard Career Development Office (CDO) helps students translate their liberal arts education to the workplace through a variety of programs and resources. From one-on-one meetings, workshops, and special events, to collaborations with other Bard offices, alumni/ae and parents, CDO staff help students connect their skills, interests, and values to a career path throughout their college life and after graduation.
